AR/Billing Specialist (On-Site | Full-Time | South Metro - Shakopee)

Are you an experienced AR/Billing professional with a background in construction accounting? We're partnering with a well-established, highly respected company in the commercial construction industry to hire an Accounts Receivable/Billing Specialist to join their close-knit administrative team.
This is a fully on-site role located in the south metro area with long-term growth opportunities, excellent benefits, and a stable, low-turnover team culture.
This is a 3-6 Month CONTRACT- TO - HIRE to start then convert to Direct-Hire. Hourly pay rate: $25-$35.

Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare and distribute customer billings
* Record incoming payments and manage customer accounts
* Send collection notices for past due accounts
* Identify slow-paying clients and potential lien candidates
* Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies
* Communicate updates with the Controller, Owners, and Project Managers
* Set up and update customer records and project files
What You Bring:
* 2+ years of AR/Billing experience in a construction environment is highly preferred
* Associate's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred, not required)
* High level of integrity and confidentiality
* Experience with Sage 300 or similar accounting software (a bonus!)
* Sage 300 (BONUS) or similar software experience
Top 3 Must-Haves:
1. 2+ years of AR/Billing in the Construction industry or related
2. Comfortable working fully on-site
3. Strong sense of integrity and professionalism
